Purchases and advertising

Dibs uses Apple and RevenueCat to process and restore the optional lifetime ad-free purchase. RevenueCat receives an app-specific customer identifier, purchase and transaction information, device and app details, and ad events such as impressions and estimated revenue. Dibs does not require you to create a user account. Development builds use test purchases and test ads.

Banner ads and your choices

The free version uses Google AdMob banner ads. Google may process IP address (including an approximate location inferred from it), device identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostics, and performance information to deliver, measure, and protect its ads. Dibs requests non-personalized ads and does not request access to your advertising identifier. Non-personalized ads still process data. When required, Google presents privacy choices before ads are requested. Ad privacy choices are available in Settings when applicable. Buying Ad Free removes banner ads. What stays on your iPhone

Your chosen feel, sound preference, strength, and coast setting are saved locally. Touch position and movement are processed on your device to create the interaction; Dibs does not save a history of your finger movements.

Local diagnostics

A small, bounded technical log stores recent playback events, error codes, impact counts, and audio port types to help troubleshoot playback. It stays inside the app and is not uploaded. You can clear it in Settings → Privacy.

Permissions and audio

Dibs plays optional sounds and haptics. It does not record audio or request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, photos, or location. Sounds are off by default and respect Silent Mode.

Removing your data

Clear local diagnostics in Settings → Privacy or delete the app to remove its local settings and files. iOS may include app data in device backups according to your backup settings. Deleting Dibs does not delete purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat, or advertising records held by Google. Contact those providers for their data retention and privacy options.

This website and support email

Cloudflare hosts this website and processes connection information, including IP addresses and technical request data, to deliver and protect it. We do not add advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies to this website. If you email support, your email address, message, and any attachments are used to answer your request. Please do not send passwords or payment-card information.
